Soar Above: YOU CAN Event (Our 2nd Community Giveback)

Consistency isn’t selfish — it gives back. When I stay consistent, it inspires others to do the same, and together we build something bigger than just clothing.

YOU CAN is a promise: That you can show up. You can give back.

This YOU CAN Event is special to me because it’s the second giveback event I’ve hosted through Soar Above. Our first event, Season of Warmth, was a huge success — not only because of orders, but because so many people showed love by sending donations without placing an order at all. That support proved something to me: this community is real, and when we move with purpose, we can make a difference.

That’s why I’m proud to launch YOU CAN — built on the two values Soar Above stands on most: consistency and community.

YOU CAN is a play on words, but it’s also the meaning behind this whole event — you can make a difference, you can show up, you can choose kindness, you can spread love, and you can be the reason someone feels supported. Even on hard days, you can keep going — and with this event, you can help put food on someone’s table two cans at a time.

How it works

Every order donates two cans of food to help people in need. Simple, but powerful — every purchase turns into real support for someone going through a hard season.

All donated items and food are delivered to Saint Thomas Church in Ogdensburg to help support local families and people in need. Donations are collected all week and then dropped off every Sunday as part of a weekly batch.

Want to donate without placing an order?

You absolutely can — and it means the world to me.

Helpful donation options include:

Canned food / non-perishables (soups, veggies, beans, tuna/chicken, pasta, rice, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, etc.)

Baby essentials (diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, baby hygiene items)

Clothing items (new or gently used — clean and folded; socks, hoodies, jackets are especially helpful)

Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, shampoo, feminine products)

Blankets / hats / gloves
